The lovely and wonderful Anne, whose Prêt à Voyager blog has always fed my appetite for all things design and wanderlust, was kind enough to ask me to contribute to her Boarding Pass series of interviews with travelers a few weeks ago. Well after I dawdled a bit with getting her everything (sorry! I wanted it to be good!) it went up today and she did a lovely job with the photo selection, don’t you think?

In the past few months I’ve learned that the life of a blog editor is a whole new game, but I’m glad to offer up some good news in the world of my baby, National Geographic Traveler’s blog Intelligent Travel. We’ve introduced some great new columns (and I love our user-generated Global Eye photo posts) but the real news is that I’m going to be taking the content from the blog and bringing it to the magazine in a new column.
